STANDINGS REPORTS CLUB CHALLENGE 2008 The Stillwater R/C Flyers will be having Club Racing again this year. The Race Season will begin as soon as the weather will cooperate, and the season will end in September. Please read the Local Rules for the CLUB CHALLENGE 2008 series. The field will be available for racing practice most Saturdays from 1 to 2 PM. If Gene is unable to attend, he will be glad to show someone where the pylon poles are kept. The poles are ten feet long, so you will need an appropriate vehicle to transport them. If no one is practicing with the pylons, flyers may use the field as usual during that time. We will try to have two races per month. All races will be on Sunday from 2 to 3pm. The CD makes the call on the weather. Quickies are easy to fly in the wind. Winds up to the 15 to 20 mph range are OK as long as they are from the south. Wind greater than ten mph from the north can be a problem due to the fact we have to take off to the South. You are responsible for having a legal plane. See the rules page. Be sure to pick up some extra 9/6 APC props. We will not provide props but will expect you to have a legal APC 9/6 with a maximum RPM of 13,500. We may want to poll flyers before each race date to be sure there will be a quorum.
