MORRISON STUDENTS TO DO A "WHODUNNIT"
MYSTERY
National Honor Society
members of Morrison HS will do a Whodunnit Mystery on April 18,2001 in
the Board room at the school. The mystery, "To Bean or not to Bean"
is written and will be hosted by Dr. Clarance Benes and co-hosted by Pat
Wayman, the Honor society's sponsor. The event is part of a critical thinking
activity. Pizza will be served during the luncheon event while suspects
try to figure out who killed Charles "Chili" Bean. Was it...

"BE NICE TO JOE SINDELAR
DAY" COMPLETE FAILURE
Morrisonites claimed they would rather get hit by
the Mir space station than to have to be nice to Joe Sindelar, even for
one hour! Even Joe's wife, who first requested the "Be nice to Joe Sindelar
Day" said she couldn't do it either. "I tried to ignore him but it
didn't work."
SECRET DEAL GETS AMERICANS HOME FROM CHINA
Most Americans THINK that they know the reason the Chinese released the
24 Americans that crashed landed in China after being struck by a Chinese
pilot, i.e., President Bush said he was sorry. That was not the REAL
reason The Chronicle has discovered. Secret negotiations reveal
that the President threaten to send JOE SINDELAR to China if the "detainees"
were not released. The Chinese responded with an immediate release of the
crew of 24.
J & J DOES SPEEDY REPAIR!
As rare as Ronnie Leigh "fixing a flat the same day it comes in"
is a speedy repair at J & J Auto. THE CHRONICLE
offers
no definite reason for that; it could be their popularity or the fact that
Crazy Jeff's broken engines block the entrance. Nevertheless, Clarance
Benes got a speedy repair on his pickup when he told Jeff he needed his
truck for a return trip to Kentucky. "Let's fix this so we can get him
out of the state!" Jeff told crazy Jeff. |

JOE FAILS INTELLIGENCE TEST FOR SUMMER
JOB
Joe Sindelar was hoping
to make a little extra money this summer as a crash dummy for Ford Motor
Company. Ford officials looked at him and replied, "Although, we
are likely to have some openings, our crash dummies are more highly qualified
than you appear to be." However, they agreed to allow him to take an intelligence
test designed especially for this job. He failed miserably although
he claims he never took it, the results would be the same. Here are some
of the questions... (answers below...)

2. If you take two apples
out of a basket of 13 and someone adds 3 apples to the basket, how many
apples do you have?
SCIENCE FAIR BIG SUCCESS AT MORRISON SCHOOL
Science teachers Stacy Vincent and Randy Shiever did a great
job in preparing practically the whole school in a Science Fair that occupied
the old and New gyms. Exhibits were many and varied and some very
unusual research questions were being addressed. For example, one
exhibit explored this question, "How many Joe Sindelars would it take to
screw in a light bulb?" Another was "How long would it take Joe Sindelar
to find a corner in the White House's Oval office?"
My personal favorite was the comparison study. It asked
the question, "If you took Joe Sindelar's brain and laid it on the edge
of a razor blade, what would that be similar to? The answer? A bb rolling
down the middle of a 8 lane super highway.
