I have no way to tell what gains were achieved with this insulation, since I can't really push the car until I get the trans replaced, and I can't raise the boost until I upgrade the fuel pump & regulator. Either way, it's just something I wanted to do. If I had the means, I'd wrap the piping with a liquid cooled jacket, just to say I'd done it. I'm not entirely practical that way. :)

Here's the piece for the 3000 pipe. Probably more work than it's worth, but I couldn't leave it alone, and I currently have no spare money, so I took what I had (water heater insulation and aluminum tape) and tried to make it work. Actually, I don't think the results are that bad.
